Esports Tournaments July 2026: The Complete Calendar

July 2026 is the biggest month in esports this year. The Esports World Cup descends on Paris with a $75M combined prize pool, BLAST Bounty Summer kicks off in Malta, Games of the Future heads to Astana, and VCT Stage 2 gets underway across multiple regions. There's barely a day without a major match. Here's everything on the calendar.

The Big Five: Unmissable Events This Month

Esports World Cup 2026 (Multiple Games)

Dates: 6 July — 23 August (July leg: 6–19 July) | Combined Prize Pool: $75,000,000 | Venue: Paris, France

The biggest esports event of the year has relocated from Saudi Arabia to Paris for 2026, bringing 25 tournaments, 24 games, 2,000+ players, and a $75M combined prize pool to the French capital. The Club Championship adds another $30M on top. Three headline games play out in July: Dota 2 EWC (6–18 Jul, 24 clubs, $2M), Valorant EWC (9–12 Jul, 16 clubs, $2M), and League of Legends EWC (13–19 Jul, 16 clubs, $2M).

CS2, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends and PUBG all have EWC events running later in August. The format pits club organisations against each other rather than national teams — making this a true test of who runs the best multi-game esports programme in the world.

BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 (CS2)

Dates: 21 July — 2 August (LAN Finals in Malta) | Prize Pool: $1,150,000

BLAST's innovative format returns for Season 2. 32 teams battle through the online qualifier stage (Bo3 series), with the top 8 progressing to the LAN finals at BLAST Studios Malta. The twist: lower-seeded teams get to draft their opponents from the higher-ranked invites, with bounties placed on top-ranked teams. Quarterfinals and Semis are Bo3; Grand Final is Bo5.

VCT EMEA Stage 2 and VCT Americas Stage 2 (Valorant)

Dates: EMEA from 15 Jul | Americas from 16 Jul

Both regional VCT Stage 2 leagues fire up mid-July, with Champions seeding on the line. After the EWC shakeup, regional standings matter more than ever heading into the second half of the year.

Games of the Future 2026

Dates: 29 July — 9 August | Prize Pool: $4,000,000 | Venue: Astana, Kazakhstan

The phygital championship blending traditional sport and esports returns in Astana with 8 disciplines, 900+ competitors from 50+ nationalities, and a $4M prize pool. Disciplines include Phygital Football, Basketball, MOBA PC, Battle Royale, and MOBA Mobile.

CDL Championship 2026 (Call of Duty)

Dates: 16 July | CDL Playoffs begin. The Call of Duty League heads into Championship stage in July, with the season's dominant teams finally meeting in the playoff bracket.
