League of Legends Summer Splits 2026: A Mid-Season Form Check

Five major League of Legends regions are live at once this August: LEC, LCS, LPL, CBLOL and LCK. None of them are into playoffs yet, most regular seasons run into late August or beyond, but the middle of the split is exactly when form starts to separate contenders from pretenders. Here's where things stand across each region.

LEC 2026 Summer: 24 July – 30 August (regular season)

G2 Esports enter LEC Summer as three-time reigning European champions, and the league's Roadtrip format keeps rotating hosts across the region, adding a live-event element that regular season matches in other leagues don't have. Karmine Corp opened the split as hosts of the opening Roadtrip event, and their home crowd advantage has made them one of the storylines to watch early on.

LCS 2026 Summer: 25 July – 6 September (regular season)

LYON entered the split as the unanimous favourite in pre-split power rankings, and North America's summer stretch will test whether that early consensus holds up as the rest of the league adjusts. With the regular season running all the way to early September, there's plenty of time left for the standings to shift.

LPL 2026 Split 3: 22 July – 23 August (regular season)

Bilibili Gaming arrive in Split 3 chasing a fourth consecutive LPL title, a run that has made them the team every other roster in China is building a gameplan around. The league's format and the sheer depth of the LPL mean early dominance doesn't guarantee anything by the time the split wraps.

CBLOL 2026 Split 2: 25 July – 30 August (regular season)

CBLOL's second split of the year is underway, with Brazil's regional scene continuing to produce some of the most aggressive, high-tempo League of Legends on the international stage.

LCK 2026 Rounds 3-4: 29 July – 23 August (regular season)

Hanwha Life Esports entered Rounds 3-4 as clear favourites off the back of a strong year, with Gen.G close behind as the league's historically dominant force. T1 have also started fast, giving Korea three genuine contenders heading into the back half of the regular season.

Why Mid-Split Form Matters

None of these regions are near playoffs yet, most regular seasons stretch into late August or September, and LCK Rounds 3-4 in particular splits teams into Legend and Rise groups based on early results, meaning mid-split form directly shapes the road each team has left to travel. Worlds qualification implications are already in the background of every match, even this early.
